and just looking at color combinations - maybe something will jump out...
there seems to be a lot of wasted space - I know your going for 100% - but is there anyway you could minimize the white space? Like in the header and nav area...
I like the logo and the use of the cell tower... the nav area looks a little disjointed from the rest of the design... anyway to "marry" that in with the rest of the page?
subcarrier, hey its a good attempt. But the color code #CODEF9 you used for the menu navigation box is kinda dull. I don't think you need to have that box there anyway, take that out.

Get an image you really like because of its colour.
Doesn't matter what it's of, just go on how nice the colours look.
Take the image into Photoshop and do Filters>Mosaic>Pixellate on it.
The result is a nice set of tiles of colours that work well together.
Experiment with the settings a bit, generally you get decent ideas from it though.
Regarding your site design.
I really don't like the bevelled buttons and drop shadow on the left.
Try doing it nice and flat and clean, css style.
A great tip is to line stuff up with other stuff, don'thave things floating.
You can also do a google search for some navigation menu tutorials. They have some good ones. Once you know how to do those, then u can use your imagination and creativity to create a button you like.

Much better. Now use CSS to format the entire site with font type, font style, and what not. I still think the gray and white makes the site look dull, but if those are the colors you need to use, then its ok...

Any idea why I'm getting a horizontal scroll bar regardless of screen resolution? It's as if there is some static 'extra' out to the right which can never be quite accomodated. A problem with the table sizes perhaps?
