Re-create Exchange Informationstore without loss

We have a problem restoring Exchange 5.5 Information Store without loss. When using this option in Backupexec 8.5 the only effect is, that new mails appear like before but the restored mails are not there. In the Backupexec protokollfile is written, that restore was successfull.

Who can help?

P.S. I have spoken to other users having the same problem, but veritas says, that they don't know the problem ???!!!

You need to backup data using flush committed logs option. On restore you tick the box marked no loss restore which does not overwrite the log file.

This can be dangerous as the indexes can go awry, so you normally end up spending hours with isinteg and edbutil...
