I have to update employee ids to add one character to the front of them. It would be too time consuming to do each record individually. What would the SQL be?

have 1223 Smith Mary

want Q1223 Smith Mary

Could anyone help? Thanks

Update emp_master set Employee_number = 'Q'||Employee_number I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
