Hi guys,
I was certified as a CCNA/CCNP/CCSP a few years ago, but I left the industry for Real Estate (HUGE MISTAKE) and allowed my certs to expire (Another HUGE MISTAKE). So, now I am faced with re-certifying all over again.

My question is what self paced kits are available for someone who is technically savvy and has a rather good grasp of the material. I also have an extensive network to practice on since I work for a major intergrator. Unfortunatly, with our workload boot-camp is out of the question.
Also, how much have the tests changed since 2001?

Thanks alot in advance.

A lot. I took the recently expired tests and I already feel out of date. Buy the Cisco books and start studying!

helpdeskdan is right. Cisco has added a lot to all the exams. Especially wireless. I took the ONT, which I didn't think was too difficult compared to the rest. but I've also been fortuneate enough to get a lot of QoS practice in the field lately.

I didn't really care for the CiscoPress books I had for the CCNP. I'd try and get the student kits. They were much better.

a book is a book, it's always a good thing to have written material, and they re not the most expensive part of the training cost

fresh CCNA

Lerdalt, you recommend the student kit. Which kits and where would I get them?
