Re-certificate IDs

I´ve tried to re-certificate an ID that is it near to expire. I use Lotus Administrator and the People/Recertificate option.
If I do it this way it doesn´t work. In the database "certlog.nsf" appears a new docuement that seems to have the right dates, but in this document the number of the ID that I've tried to re-certificate is missing. I think that's the problem but I don't know how to solve it.
Does anyone have any suggestion?
Is there another way of do this?
