I'm experiencing a strange problem with a MICS 5.0. The MICS has one PRI into it. The problem is that there are two phone numbers that produce a fast busy when dialed.

I have checked all settings from the PRI lines and target lines to the dialing plan, routes and public DN length, and they are correct.

All other numbers dial out OK, it's just two local numbers that give this fast busy. Even when you program one of the public DN length to the exact numbers (including area code}and tell the ksu to use 10 digits, it still gives a fast busy.

If you jump on a different line (cell or a set off the system, the call goes through, so the telephone numbers are defintely valid and reacheable. The restrictions aren't blocking the numbers, as other telephone numbers with the same first 6 digits goes through without as even delay.

So if all other numbers with the same area code and prefix go through, what would cause the ksu to not to allow these two numbers to go through. It has been suggested the it's a carrier issue, but as the customer has ordered and arranged all the lines and PRI themselves, they would have to talk to repair.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Tahnx in advance

Try turning on 'Release Reasons' to detailed and see what the message is when the call doesn't complete

I've got a CP150 ver 1.5.32.01 with my primary UI set to NVM. I'm using the call center app., and have CC reporting. Every once in a while the RDB server either stops receiving or the CP stops sending data. The RDB error code is 10054 and the error continually repeats until I either restart the Server with the CC Reporting Master or cycle the power on the Call Pilot. What's up? I've had this problem several times. Thanks in advance.

Sorry about that....
Check the PRI configuration on Outgoing Line ID. under term. & sets check the "OLI", just to make sure their are no more than 10 digits. I had a similiar problem with a Legend Magix where I had inadvertently inserted a 1 in front of the "number to send" on the PRI setting. Certain CO's didn't know what to do with the extra digit. Anyway, give that a try.
