Re-building PC's in SMS 2.0 site.

I'm currently working in a test environment using SMS 2.0 and am continually re-building my Windows2000 Pro PC's. <br>I'm not changing the machine name but does anyone know how this affects SMS. Is there a unique identifier that i should know about ?? Is there a set procedure to follow when re-building PC's ??<br>I'd appreciate advise.
