I want to be able to re-boot my Solaris machine every Sunday at 22:00 hrs.
Is a cron job the best solution. If so can someone give me the syntax. I’ve never used one before.

I'm not sure if you cron is the best, but here's what cron entry will look like.

00 22 * * 6 /usr/sbin/shutdown -g0 -i6 2>&1
