Hey,


I am just looking to practice with AIX and wanted to purchase the operating system. Is their a evalutation copy or and how much is the operating system itself.

i think NONE... as far as i'm aware of... you really have to buy or own a box to have it.

AIX requires and RS/6000 computer to run. It does not run on any other hardware, with the exception of Bull computers.

Often times you can find them relatively inexpensive on Ebay.

also, AIX runs on motorola powestack but no longer on the market & i have one for testing
