rdump on a filesystem

I know rdump should be used on devices such as tapes. Can I use rdump to backup files to a remote system's filesystem? And if I have a huge file, can I use JFS2 for this purpose?

Nope, for an unknown reason rdump is not supported with JFS2, as written in the Difference Guide
