I'm so confused !
Running XP pro on home machine.
Enabled & checked for RDT on work machine running XP pro.
Have a functioning VPN to work network SBS2000.
Can estaplish RDT with the network server over the same VPN.
Can ping my workstation from server over network.

Can't get connection to my own machine........what is up with this ??

Thanks for any suggestions.
Gene

Try telnetting to port 3389 on your work machine and see if you get a connection.

OK
If I understand this correctly I need to get the VPN ports on the sbs2000 server to let thru or forward to port 3389 so the machines on the inside of the network can connect to the client on the other end of the VPN tunnel.?
If this is correct where & how do I accomplish this ?

Once you've established your VPN connection to work, try telnetting to port 3389 on your work machine and see if you get a connection.

telnet <workmachine> 3389

Tried it.
Can't ping any machines inside the network & can't telnet either. It is like the server is stopping any requests and I can't figure out wherew or why.

Thaks
