RDS and Printers

Hi,

We have a 2008 Server Farm which users remote desktop to from their local xp workstations. The local stations have specific networked printers installed (coming from a print server) which are not being redirected in the rdp session. Any LPT printers redirect fine, however TCP/IP printers dont seem to redirect. Is this by design or am I missing something?
