I have an SBS 2011 Premium setup with Server 2008 acting as a TS.
A custom application is installed on the TS which needs local admin rights to run properly.
There is no local admins group as the 2008 server is a DC.

Is there any way I can give the RDP clients local admin access to the server so they can run the app.

At the moment I have added the RDP clients to the Domain Admins group to get the app to work.

If I were you, I would not have made the second server a DC. There's no compelling need for a second DC, and it actually makes recovery slightly more difficult since you can't just directly restore either of the failed servers without having to worry about AD complications.

If you remove the DC role (which you should do if you want to use it as a TS), then you won't have any issues doing what you're trying to do.
