I am connecting to our server from a remote office. I want to print from the server, which is running WIN03 sm Bus Serv. all client computers run XP Pro sp2. I have ensured that the printer box in the local resource tab is checked. RDP port 3389 is open on both ends. Drivers are installed. There are no groups policies that are inb place to stop any remote connections. I can loggin and work without problems. I can even recognize my local drives including my thumb drive. But I cannot recognize or print locally. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!

Anything here?

Thanks Pudda & Linney.
Both suggestions were viable, however I have already tried both to no avail.

As a possible Workaround would something like this be feasible?

Print to file
Thread779-798962

Any such file you create must be copied to the printer directly (at time of printing), and not opened by an application for printing, as it also contains all the necessary extra instructions for printing what you have printed to the file.

copy path\filename.prn lpt1
from a command prompt should work or similar type of instruction may be required. I can't help you much with the DOS side of things.
