Thanks for looking!

We have a Windows 2003 Server that has 8 remote sites that log in via RDP. The remote sites all use XP Pro. The system has worked great.

The big issue we have is that the IP provider (Time Warner) at the main site keeps having issues. We are going to add a backup IP provider (AT&T) at the main site in case TW goes down. We will use a Cisco router that accepts Dual WANs.

Here's my question:
Is there any way we can program both IP's (AT&T & Time Warner) into the remote RDP Connection icon? That way when the remote user clicks on the icon, and the Time Warner IP service is down, it then automatically tries to use the AT&T IP. I know we could set up 2 icons (1 for AT&T and 1 for TW) but I'm trying to make it seamless to the user.

Maybe I should look at a Terminal Server gateway instead (but we must stay with Windows 2003) ?

Any advice would be helpful.

Thank you,
Richard Scott
