Hi,

Having a voip logger works perfectly. i have few people connecting trough RDP on a server and listening the calls this way.. the problem looks like as soon as the call have been recorded trough the VOIP logger the call cannot be listened lot of noise and strange sound (it is working perfectly when i'm not using the RDP)... the codec that is recorded is a g729.

What logger service pack are you using? The current ga is sp6.

Also are you replaying via the web or toolbar apps? I found on a number of sites that the voice would be garbled on machines that I was playing through the web that didn't have the client apps installed, as soon as I installed the client apps over the top I could then listen to the calls without issue through the web. NICE never gave me a fix for this.

Also have you configured the logger for g729 in the logger VoIP config options, and is your logger capable of recording this compression.

Hi,

installing the client solved the issue... really strange but working... regarding the logger yes the G729 is enable

thanks for your feedback.

David

There should be a feature pack that is part of Web SP4a and above that supports the G729 compression. However, the Web Server has to be installed with support for 8.9 though.
