Hello,

I am about to rollout RDP 6.0 so I can use the /span option. However the RDP client asks for pre-authentication before attempting to talk to the server. Is there a way of turning this off. I have looked at the available switches but none of them do the trick. Any help would be great

Cheers
John

I believe this is by design and cannot be turned off. It just takes your logon info before you get to the server and the passes it through for you. Old way was to connect and then enter your username and password. I believe this is to help prevent hacking for outside to internal Terminal Servers (domain names protection and all that fun stuff)

I'll research further and report back if I find anything else.
