Could anyone guide me what should be the processor speed and memory to run 25 users on rdc who will be mainly running
Sage Accpac &
Microsoft Office mainly Outlook

Would appreciate your help or direction in the right place to look at. Our current provider has put us on 2.4 dual processor with 2 gb ram which is hardly efficient.

Since we are looking at this again I just wish to put some extra capacity so we dont worry for the next 3 years.

6 Gb of RAM would do it, assuming you're running Windows Server 2003 Enterprise edition, because Standard edition maxes out at 4 Gb. The processor speed is fine.

Is the database on a different server?

The database is on the same server. Is this a problem or should I put it on a different server. I thought keeping on the same server is less things to manage. The daily backup is at a remote site.

With that many users you definitely want it on another server, no matter whether it's Pervasive or MSSQL.

Agreed, you need a dedicated database server and dedicate the current server to TS.
