Hi,

Is it possible to integrate RDC designer in a office application? It seems to be said in Crystal manual taht we can, however I think that we can only use ActiveX controls inside an Office application, and not Activex designer.

An I right or wrong? If I am wrong, hoe can we use RDC designer in an office application?

Thank you.

I am not sure about the RDC, but there is a Crystal reports add in that you can use in excel, and you can write a crystal report without ever leaving excel. This reportedly works for access as well, but I have never used it there.

to activate the add-in from excel, go to tools/add-ins. Software Training and Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine

I have a excel macro (VB) that runs a report and exports the data to a excel .xls file.

It looks like you can build a report from scratch in a excel macro.

I hope this is what you are asking. CharlesCook.com

Charles,

what I would really know is if it is possible to integrate the RDC designer inside Office. I know we can control RDC Run Time in VBA, but what I´m trying to know is if we can use the designer component. It seems that in Crystal manual we can do it, but they don´t say how.

thank you!
