RDC access but no admin rights

Hi,
We have a 2003 server in a 2003 AD domain. This server is our development server so our software team need RDC & file access to it but no rights to change any settings in IIS or ACLs. Is this possible to achieve.

I know many will say give them full rights but our last server became ususable due to lots of messing with the admin settings so i have just wiped and recreated from scratch.

Hi. you don't need to give them admin rights. First switch on the ability to connect to your 2003 server....

Then, set up a global group in AD containing your software team users.

Add this team to "Select Remote Users", seen here...
