Are you looking to slow down 911 calls in response to 911 mis-dials?
If so a good solution can be programmed in NARS/BARS. The result is if a user dials 911 and another digit the call is blocked - and if they dial just 911 or (if programmed)9-911 call routing is delayed for about 3 seconds giving the user a oppotunity to release the call.
I believe the how-to has been posted here it the past. Also the instructions are posted out on the web but I do not recall the site.
I have implemented this on several sites and it works well to lower the number of 911 mis-dials. Ya just have to put up with the 3 second delay on real 911 calls.
I understand how that works, and it works great in a non-E911 scenario. When your PBX has E911 feature implemented, you must delete the 11 SPN so that you can build 911 in LD 24's ESA table.
In ld 24, you must define the emergency dn and the RDB the call is going out on.
