Does anyone know if the RDB database package used at Harvard ( is available anywhere on the net for download? I know that /rdb is available - but it's expensive and the Harvard package looks as if it will do what I need. I sent the page maintainer an email but didn't hear back.

Fallback position is, of course, to implement a custom (similar) system myself ... time is a problem right now, unfortunately as that sounds like a fun project.

Thanks in advance.

Additional comment: something similar - using delimited (| or tab) ASCII files on Unix would work if anyone knows of another package like RDB.

Tnx again.

Thanks - got it. Must have missed it last night while Google-ing for rdb ... there are so many Oracle-rdb sites out there, this one could have easily slipped through.

My understanding is that this package by Hobbs was the basis for the harvard version so it might not be exactly the same - but I think this one will do the trick.

Really appreciate it!!!

Best,

Tom
