rdate on redhat 6.2

I notice I cannot rdate to a redhat 6.2 server. I can rdate to
Solaris, SGI and slackware servers. And I can rlogin to the
redhat 6.2 server. What is it about RH-6.2 that is blocking
an rdate inquiry?
