Has anyone come across this before?

I have updated the .rhosts file and all that but when I try to rcp from a solaris 8 box to a solaris 10 box I keep getting the error message "Killed" and nothing else.

Advice would be appreciated.

I have only seen "Connection refused" messages (and $? = 1) when the Solaris 8 system name was not in the Solaris 10 .rhosts or was not in the Solraris 10 /etc/hosts
and "Permission denied" messages (when going the other way) and Solaris 10 system name was not in the Solaris 8 .rhosts .

I hope that helps.

Mike

I have seen this when rcp coud not be exec'ed, out of swap space.

It is a problem on the target, try and get a loopback to work.
