Having a problem with a recent RCC install. BCM 200 3.6,Have all new patches installed. Customer supplied Machine has no virus software, windows XP Serv pack 2,IIS ver 5 is installed, I have turned of the firewall.

Install was O.K. get to the login screen no problem, when I do a CCRS connection, status comes up green,it looks like it is pulling in the skillset and report info, but progress bar stays at 0% I could let it sit for hours, nothing.

Also after about 30 sec. from doing a CCRS connection I am getting an error that says the following:

INFORMATION:Could not determine contact center status.Check Field on system status page.

Has anyone come accross this?

New installation of RCC? Was RCC operational prior to applying the patches? If so what patches were applied?

You can try the follwoing commands via mysql on the RCC webhost PC.

get to the cmd line on the RCC PC.

*navigate to c:\program files\mysql\mysql server 4.1\bin
*then type "mysql --port=3309" enter (minus quotes)
*then type "use ccrdb" enter (minus quotes)
*then type "select * from rptrequesttimes;" (minus quotes)
you should see a heading of endDate and CurrentBCMTime. Both will have time and date entried underneath. The endDate is the latest call center data that has been extracted from the BCM to the RCC application. THe CurrentBCMTime is just that, the time on the BCM. If the CurrentBCMTime is March 2004, then you are not making a successful connection to the MSSQLSERVER on the BCM. If the CurrentBCMTime is up to date and accurate then the odds are the endDate is simply not progressing. This means that there is a good connection to the MSSQLSERVER on the BCM but we you are having issues extracting the call data.

Try the follwoing command if this is the case.
Get back into the SQL commands as listed above.
*then type "update rptrequesttimes set endDate = '2007-07-07 12:00:00;'" (minus the double quotes. The date and time I typed were examples, Enter the date and time that you wish to try retrieving data from. You will need to restart the RCC launcher service on the webhost PC.

There is also a ccrstestpage.htm located in the installation directory of RCC. This is a pure xml retrival device that should let you know if you areable to get data from the BCM.
