Scenario -

We have to restore realtime display to callcenter on a daily basis as much as 3-4 times daily. The realtime connect status goes red and server connect status also fails . We want to display realtime all day but it seems to time out and has to be restored. Spoke with Itel multi times and they have not worked on 2008 platform much and set-up a 2008 server in lab to duplicate problem and errors.Response was to stop and start rcc launcher which runs for awhile then cycles into this stall.Abugfix was installed by Itel but the problem persist. Event code 1000 appears routinely in application events which is generic .Itel states that this is a site specific fail and we want to know if any other 2008 server users are having similar stalling on their call center realtime display ?

What version RCC?

there is a note about 2.4.xxx

Is Reporting for Contact Center (RCC) 2.4 supported on Windows 2008?

Description (Problem Clarification)

Is RCC 2.4 supported on Windows 2008?
Resolution Plan

No.

RCC 2.4.xxx uses Crystal Reports which is broken by the Net framework that is installed as part of Windows 2008.

Morenot

We are on RCC 5.0 the HDview upgrade , the reports are fine the realtime display stops running intermittently. We want to run realtime display in the callcenter for 8 hr stretch . It wont stay up. Itel states that it is an issue with parent/child web pages with realtime [child page] dropping off because parent page does not stay active during the browser session.
