RCC 1 sec abandoned calls

I have a customer who keeps getting 1 or 2 second abandoned calls on the reports I have verified these are genuine callers who for some unknown reason keep hanging up before the system has chance to answer but its still being logged and is dragging down there GOS..

I can not think of anyway to overcome this ?

If its not broke tweak it..
 
Not sure on the reports. But we have a customer running BCM450 R6 and they were getting alot of abandoned/calls cutting off after 1 or 2 rings.

I applied the latest SU which has a fix for:

10. Intermittent incoming call drops when ringing Call center agent at BCM.
Intermittent incoming PRI calls to Call centre agents are dropped when
answered.

hmm its a R5 450 might just schedule the latest system patch while im there tomorrow..

I wouldn't do a scheduled patch if I was you.

I've had a few issues where over the last while when BCMs don't boot, from scheduled patches/reboots and you physsically need to pull the plug.
 
lol I wish i had read that before schedule the patch got a call on Monday to say the system was down :)

Yeah, been stung with that a couple of times. I wish Avaya would get their finger out and fix it :)
 
Same here. We had a scare on a couple of systems that did not reboot on their own. Had to pull the power.
