I have a Risc6000 P615 on aix 5.1. At some point the system lost power and now every 24 hours a message pops up on every monitor that is logged in stating the rc power failure problem. There is a file somewhere that this message is in and it repeats every 24 hours It has somthing to do with rc, but i haven't been able to find the file to remove it. Can someone tell the the procedure to remove this error so it will quit coming up everyday.

rc power failure

this message is automatically placed in the cron when having a power failure( do a crontab -l and you will notice the last line )
just delete the last line in your cron, problem solved
