RBS - Help understanding it and how it works with group and category permissions

Hi,

I need some help understanding the RBS. If an RBS is created, does every resource have to be assigned an rbs?

I guess I'm confused how the permissions given by the RBS work with Groups and the category permissions (i.e. - my projects, my organizations) assigned to each group. Does the RBS override these? I have seen the RBS permissions but these are a bit confusing to me... can anyone help explain this?

Hi Nic,

I'm guessing you are using Project Server? I don't know if you'll get too many answers here - as I don't know if there are a lot of server folks answering questions here. I suggest posting to the Microsoft Forum for server:

Please explicitly state what version of Project Server you are using as the RBS has changed over the years.
