How do you tell if a raw logical volume is being used by a database or written to last? We have both open & closed that have recent time stamps.

if the state is open, then then it's likely an open table from when the DB was started or the table was added. at least that's my memory from way back when we used raw lv's at this center.

maybe your DB logs will tell you when it was last written.
