Chance1234, Hi, I just visited your site...a few comments:

1) Righ off the back, the horizontal scroll bars verry bad. Fit the entire page (horizontally) on one screen...besides you have no content that makes for the horizontal bars, the java applet (scrolling marquee) fit that onto one page...

2) On Legend.html, the image looks good, but its too bright, in PS try to lower its opacity or something...

3) Also on Legend.html you have some links, like Creation, The Book, and so forth...when you click on one link all the links should be there also, why make the user go back-click once so they can select another link??

4) Same goes for Miscellaneous.html...

5) Photos from the latest shoot, delivers a "Path Not Found" error message
I have not failed; I have merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

Hi,

As GJM mentioned, the side scrolling is dreadful. This is probably the problem:
<DIV ID=&quot;HTMOBJ7CE56202D3A64158&quot; STYLE=&quot;position:absolute; top:460px; left:26px; width:968px;

The main image and title should be more centered.
I'm not crazy about red and green colours on the nev bar.
The new images are too big IMO
Get rid of the marquee, they are tacky IMO
Copyright notice only needs to be Copyright (c) 2003 5YLAC with a link to a full copyright if required, but there's no need for 3 full lines of text on the bottom of every page.
Navigation needs to be more consistent throughout the pages.

Hope that helps

1) Make the top frame slightly smaller, it will allow your menu to fit most browsers without the need for scrollbars.
2) Where you link to other sites open them in a new windo rather than a frame on your page
Hope this helps It's not a lie if you believe it!

Oops also.

Ok the new site:

1. I think the top frame is too big. I personally think a header shouldn't be more than 80px, generalising of course.

2. you could add some bgcolor, it's all a bit too white.

3. you could get rid of the frame borders, or add colour to them.

4. Left links, add a little bit of space between the crosshair image and the link. i'd make the text link a little smaller, maybe a nicer font and a different colour.

5. the top frame again, add some colour, different font to liven it up.

6. On Audio Visual Prod: Add some text to tell the visitor that clicking the links will download a .rm file

7- Broken link on Graphic Design & Copyrighting

8. Consistency, some pages have a header, others don't.

9. Contact, offer an alternative to the contact form, maybe an email, tel number etc

10. your external links should open in a new window, not in the frame

11. make sure you have the necessary javascript to hold all the frames together.

That's about it :)

originally i had the site very colourful, with images all over the place, my inkling is with this site, is im going to be targeting clients via a mail shot (free Coffe Mats for all!) and e-mail shot, what i have tried to do with the site is keeping it fast loading and straight to point, so if they do glance at it there not going to be put off and can find infomation straight away.

I do however want to do something with the top frame, maybe some DHTML in there to add a simple background effect.

Also how would i change the colour of my frame borders ? Filmmaker, gentlemen and East end club promoter

1. Make sure you change the title of the page (it's currently &quot;New Page 2&quot;).

2. I'd either put the left menu in a table so your bulletet items line up nicely and text doesn't wrap underneath the bullets, e.g.:

Code:
<TABLE>
  <TR>
     <TD><IMG SRC=&quot;bullet_image&quot;></TD>
     <TD>Menu Item</TD>
  </TR>
</TABLE>

or use CSS to do so.

3. If you're mostly going to do a text-only site to keep things loading quickly, use some more CSS to jazz up the text.

4. Make the right margin of the ship picture bigger. The text is too close to it. Also, I'd make your name bigger, and your services smaller, and tighten the spacing between them. My eyes don't really focus on anything the way it is now.

Hope this helps...

Misty
