Hi,

I am using an interanl modem to configure RAS. Any time I dial to a remote client I keep getting error 629. I tried using Direct cable Connection it still them same. What do I do?

If you are connecting to the destination before it gives you this message then it sounds like you may need disable/enable dialback to suit your needs. I don't know if this is any help...

I tried disable/enable dialback but still did not work. I now have error "692: Hardware failure in port or attached device." How do go from here?

use device.log to get more information if you have not done that.

and i'll advice you remove everything and start again from scratch, there maybe something u are doing wrong.
