We have an NT server with 56k modem for RAS clients. Our network uses fixed IP addresses, not DHCP. I have a laptop which users want to use from home to access the company LAN. The laptop runs Windows 2000 SP3 and has a static IP assigned for when it's used on the LAN. The same IP address is used in the Dial Up configuration. When I dial in I get an error message on the Laptop "TCP/IP CP reported error 735" - this suggests problems with the IP configuration. If I don't specify the IP address in Dial Up, I connect to the server, the user is authenticated but no logon script runs and I have no access to network resources.
I guess I'm not the first to have this problem but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. Any help will be gratefully received.
TIA
