I am looking for a clear description of the differences
(pros/cons, when to use one and not the other, etc.)
between using RAS and using Terminal Services on a Windows 2000 Server to provide off-site access to server-based applications.

Any info, advice, or suggestions you can suggest would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

RAS is only going to allow you to access the file system on the server. If this is sufficient for your server applications, then use it but if you need to interact with the server then Terminal Services would be the way to go!

Remote control -- what a wonderful tool!!!

Hope this info will help.
