RAS server stats

We use 75% of the time the RAS server to view reports. We would like to capture stats on the number of reports, duration, etc.. Is this information stored anywhere on the report server or within the CMC?

What do you mean use the RAS server to view reports? You can't actually view a report through the RAS server...it processes reports but they are displayed either in InfoView or some other method of distribution. Are you trying to find out how many time a report is viewed via InfoView?

There are some audit samples in the Sample Reports folder. I'm sorry, I'm not in front of my Enterprise console right now so I can't tell you exactly where, but there are several reports with usage statistics.

Is there any way of knowing how long a report took to run?

There might be some reports that provide that in there as well. I'll check this evening and post back in the morning.

The answer is yes. In the report samples folder, there is a folder called 'Auditor'. There are SEVERAL reports you can run to get these statistics. One of them is called 'Document Scheduling and Viewing Status' and it displays how often documents are scheduled and/or viewed.

we dont have this folder or object... where can I obtain it? I would like to know when the user runs a report VIA CMC by clikcing on the View button how long it takes for the report to generate? Where can I find this info?

Like MRJBIM stated, it's an add on. I naively assume that everyone running BO Enterprise is using Premium. You'd need to purchase a license for it.
