We're having an issue where servers reboot unexpectedly. We're running citrix with edgesight installed. Edgesight says that a new RAS Async Adapter was installed at 5:17 this morning, and the server rebooted at 5:18. There are no exclamation points in Device Manager, although a single RAS Async Adapte is there.
2 Questions for you all.
What does the RAS Async Adapter do? MS's site says its for a RAS Asycnronous device, which I'd figured out on my own. A more detailed defition has eluded my searching on google.
Also, has anyone had this problem before, where a RAS Async device getting added spontaneously causes a reboot?
