RAS and PC Anywhere

Has anyone had a problem with PC-Anywhere and RAS clashing even through they are on different modems and different telephone numbers.

There is a support doc on the Symantec website which describes the problem exactly saying that if you get the black screen when logging in to PC anywhere then stop the RAS service and try again.

Anyone know of a way of it working without this workaround or how to tell RAS not to use the second modem
