Hi,

I am working wi CR 9 and CR RAS 9. I have developed a test report with few parameters. When I try to access the report from the webbrowser, I get the logon page for the database (DB2). When I enter the correct userid and password, it gives me an error saying logon was unsuccessful. Do i need to configure RAS?? Please advice on what the problem could be.

Dave

If you are connecting to the DB2 database via ODBC then the ODBC must be a System DSN when using the RAS, the same as when using Enterprise. If your DSN is USER then this can create the problem you describe.

Remember it makes no difference to Crystal Reports whether the ODBC DSN is either system or user so it will appear okay when the report is run from within CR.
