Hi,
Please, I've been trying to solve this problem for a while:
I set up a VPN from client W2K with raptor mobile version 6.5.3 (SEVPN) to our firewall raptor version 6.5 though dial-up connection.
result:
- connect to the firewall, OK
- can take control of the LAN PC with PC-duo, OK
- can ping PCs on LAN by IP address, OK
- cannot ping PCs on LAN by their names, NOT OK
- cannot browse Network Neighborhood, error message " server cannot be contact .."
- nslookup displays our internal DNS as default server, as set up on the VPN rule, OK
- ls -d <domain> works fine , OK
remark:
- I checked the dial-up properties that allow file sharing, (it's disable by default with W2K)
- NAT is not used on VPN rule, should I?
- the IP address is not on the same range as LAN IP addresses.
Many thanks for your help,
