Have you tried putting *@* in all admin fields, check the alias fields the fully qualified domain name as well as any short names or aliases must be included in the client setup's alias field.
check the network, can you ping from server to client and client to server using short name long name and ip address

are you using dns etc or do you have host tables setup.?

just add *@tijtrm01.tij.wna.jabil.com in the remote access field and you'll be ok. I got the same error message, and that solved it.

Using the wildcard in this case opens up security holes.
