Hello,

my situation is like this: I have four columns in Excel (A, B, C and D). The first three ones contain some values, and in the fourth column, column D, I would like to have the ranking (positioning) of the first column, column A. For example: A=10, B=20, C=7 and column D must be 2 (which means the second position).
Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Hysen

Hi,

"For example: A=10, B=20, C=7 and column D must be 2"

WHY 'column D must be 2'?

WHAT is the logic determining that 'column D must be 2'?

Thanks a lot mintjulep,

as for your question SkipVought. Column D must be 2 because it means that column A is in the 2nth position comparing with column B and C.
