Hello ,

I need to change the network of an MX-one 6.

I need to change my network to 192.168.0.0/24 in 192.168.0.0/22

I wanted to know if I can just change in "Yast" my subnet / 24 by my new subnet / 22

Or do you have to re-install the MX-ONE and reload the backup?

Thank you for your help

Fabrice

This operation is not supported.
You need to print all data (use file from pcregen) and then reinstall the mx-one and reimport data regenerated from print files.

Hello whosrdaddy and thanks for the reply

Why can not I manage the netmask without doing a complete installation again?

What is the risk?

If I modify directly the Linux command

/ Etc / sysconfig / network / ifcfg-eth0

and that I restart the network service

This does not change the files of the Mx-One?

Then I change the netmask for LSU cards?

What is your opinion on the change of the ifcfg-eth0 file?

Mitel has nothing planned if a customer has to change its IP addressing?

thanks for your help

Fabrice

Hi FabTech,

As whosrdaddy says, this is not supported by Mitel.
As you say it is easy to change on the eth, but all IP´s are copied and inserted in many files within Mx-One.
