Ok, here's my problem. My company supports several thousand remote customers. These customers are using the Snapgear Lineo se2810 VPN device to create the tunnel with two Nortel CES 4500 devices. This problem is mainly experienced with Cable customers. We can get the tunnel connected with no problems, the issue is with intermittent connectivity with the internal servers on the other side of the nortel boxes. In my testing, I have found that we can ping the Nortel box all day long with good response times, however, I cannot ping the servers on the inside of the LAN with any regularity, and if I can ping the servers, there is no less than 25% packet loss. I am wondering if the issue is with the nortel box. I read a thread with similar problems. thread902-272993 main difference is that i dont think that all the servers are on the same subnet, but on several subnets within the network. for example: *.70.107.78, *.70.109.143, *.70.108.212. All these are reachable, but randomly. I appreciate any thoughts you might have on this. Thanks in advance. If you have any questions, just ask and i will try to clarify the issue.
