Hi,
I am getting random recurrence of a error, when using the smsls.bat logon script. Which I have attached, to the posting.
The error happens on new setup clients as well as old. I am running a SMS 2.0 service pack 4 with ICP4.
The error is:
Dialogue box error subjecrt: 16 Bit MS-Dos Subsystem
Text:
\\domaincontroler\ntlogon\smsls.bat
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
CS:1e78 IP:0010 opf 00 00 00 00 Choose close to terminate the application.
Buttons include are: Clouse and Ignore.
I am running windows 2000 domain with Exchange 2000 integrated. It is also happens on all domain controllers.
Does anyone have any idea why, this will be happening? As my smsls.bat has not bean modified since 18/04/01 (UK date) The script has worked for over a year now and has not changed.
