Random order on report of data from a subform

Hi all,
I've got a problem that I can't seem to solve. I've got a form w/ a subform. I'm printing a report using data from both the form and subform. For some reason when I print the report the data from the subform is being displayed in a random order. Originally it would display the data in reverse order of what was entered on the subform and I don't remember what I did, I tried a million different things and now I can't remember what exactly I did but now it's displaying in what appears to be a random order. Does anyone have any suggestions on why it would be doing this and what I can do to fix it? I would like the report to display these items in the same order as they are entered on the subform. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

You should be able to tell the report in what order to print the records out by going into the report's design view and selecting the Sorting and Grouping properties (right click on the reports design section). There you can sort/group by whatever fields on the report, that you need. This might help if you haven't done so already.

Hi Chad,
Take care to note how your subform is sorted or filtered. I have had great sucess in basing reports off of saved queries, making sure the query sort order results in displaying the data exactly as on the form. You must then check the reports sort orders to make sure they don't undo what you just did do. (does that sound right?) LOL

Put Order By on and put field name in Order By in Properties for the subform or subreport.
