Random no dial tone

I have a Norstar mics 4.0 using mck extenders. The problem I'm having with the remote M7208 Handsets (6 in all) is they will randomly have no dial tone and the only way to get them working again is by resetting the port on the branch office extender and then that phone may work for 5 minutes or may work for hours. Without the dial tone you can still dial out but you can't hear anything, also you page to any other station main branch or office with no voice. Anyone else ever experience this or would you have any suggestions I've checked the punch downs twice and even replaced both the switch and remote, bandwidth and latency is no problem.

I've seen several posts concerning problems with extenders.
If you click on the search tab at the top and type in fiber extenders one of the posts may have a solution although I think this is a known glitch and I have seen no solution presented as yet.

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than to have a frontal lobotomy
