Random IPC$ Connections

Environment: Windows TS 4.0 SP 6, MetaFrame 1.8 SP 2

Symptom: Random, unexplained IPC$ connections to application servers.

Details: The users who maintain these connections are NOT logged in to the server in question. Most of these users NEVER connect to the server in question.

Where are these coming from?
