Hi All new to the Forum,
We have a TDE-200 with PRI.

Frustrating problem:
Users who pair/call forward(clone) their phone to their mobile are getting a large number of dropped calls.
We have a PRI and have upgraded to latest firmware.
The user can even be in building and answer the call on their mobile and have the call drop.
And we have good cell coverage in office.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Most users seem to say within the first couple of minutes.
It is random and they don't always drop.
But still trying to get users to log detailed info on drops.
Been a challenge to say the least.

does all forwarded calls drop at some stage or just some. a forwarded call is like a unsupervised conference call and the system could drop it if it saw a break in data from lines/system/cell.

you could do a line trace and see what happens when the call drops

Is the pri a copper to the exchange or a ip/pri interface

Seems to be just some calls. Have found out that when reception uses a preprogrammed button to forward callers to an external information line it more often than not drops at some point. Seems very similar to the Pairing issue.
It is copper to the exchange as far as I know. How would you go about doing a line trace or is that on the IP system.

THX
