I have a BCM 400 that reboots on power surges/drops, (Aside from the fact it needs a better UPS-That's being looked into) The problem is after re-boot it, the main attend phone starts dialing random numbers. I believe it may be dialing system speed dials? Not sure. This is an early software, so I'm thinking (aside from the new UPS) a s/w upgrade may fix whatever problem it's having. Any ideas
or similar problems from anyone?
Thanks in advance.
Greg

It currently has Rel. 3.0, as for what patches, I doubt any. This is a new customer, and we have aquired a maint. contract on them, I didn't install it. I'm trying to get them to update the s/w to 4.0, whether they want to pay for this is another matter.

This is going back a long ways, but it might be worthwhile to load core patch 3.18 on the BCM if it isn't installed. That was a patch for release 3.0/3.01 that fixed some spontaneous core reset issues. I don't know if it's downloadable from Nortel anymore though.
