Random dial ups every few minutes

We are using windows 2000 server and a intel 8100 router to connect to the internet. This connection through an isdn line continually dials out every 2 - 15 minutes produing a very large phne bill most calls disconnect within one minute but we are unable to establish a reaseon for the calls being made.

Can anybody help please!!!

go to start>settings>control panel>internet options
under the connections tab, set it to "never dial a connection". If it is checked, toggle it by removing it and putting it back in. Hope this helps!!

I came, I saw, I connected at 48.8...
